Tax Credits Group (TCG) is pleased to announce the expansion of its Research & Development Tax Credit practice to include a new location in Novi, Michigan. The new office, located 30 miles northwest of Detroit, will serve as an ideal location to better serve new and existing clientele in Michigan.
The decision to expand operations outside Ohio comes on the heels of recent changes to the R&D Tax Credit – an incentive designed to spur U.S. innovation and aid in global competition- which has significantly broadened its applicability and generated a wealth of new interest from businesses that had previously been locked out of the opportunity.
We have always been focused on helping small and mid-size businesses in our own back yard,” said Michael Krajcer, TCG President. “And with the recent favorable changes to the credit, many more Michigan-based manufacturers, software developers and financial institutions will now be able to utilize the credit to offset income and even payroll taxes.”
