New Partnership will bring tax savings awareness to more Ohio businesses

Tax Credits Group (TCG) is pleased to announce a new strategic alliance agreement with PolymerOhio. The new agreement will allow TCG and PolymerOhio to work together in order to better serve small to mid-size businesses throughout Ohio.

Both TCG and PolymerOhio work to help Ohio businesses grow and prosper. PolymerOhio connects businesses with the right technology, expertise and resources needed to reach their growth goals. TCG helps businesses obtain tax savings through the Research and Development Tax Credit—a combination of Federal and State incentives designed to spur U.S. innovation and aid in global competition.

By working together, the two organizations will co-sponsor seminars and events to educate Ohio businesses on the benefits of the Federal R&D credit, which can be utilized to offset income tax, Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) or payroll tax—as well as the Ohio R&D credit, which can be utilized against the Corporate Activity Tax (CAT).

“Most businesses eligible for this tax credit go unaware of its existence, or simply do not believe that their development efforts qualify,” said Michael Krajcer, TCG President. “By working with PolymerOhio, we will be able to help more business in our own backyard benefit from the credit and invest their tax savings into new initiatives that will help our economy grow.”

“For PolymerOhio, this is another in a series of strategic partnerships aimed at helping companies in Ohio’s manufacturing and polymer industries access trusted resources to help them grow,” said Bruce Fawcett, Executive Director of PolymerOhio.

The first co-sponsored webinar event which is free to Ohio manufacturers is scheduled to take place on Wednesday July 12 at 10:00 a.m. EST. To register for the event please visit https://goo.gl/mGV8c2
