Tax Credits Group, (TCG) is honored to participate in the 58th Annual Cleveland Tax Institute, presented by the Tax Club of Cleveland and Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
The event, which will be held Dec. 3 and 4 at the CMBA Conference Center located at 1375 E. 9th Street, offers lawyers and tax professionals from across the region the most recent industry developments and updates.
TCG President Michael Krajcer and Managing Director Bethany Jones-Worner will participate in a Dec. 3 panel discussion on tax controversy updates for the federal Research & Development Tax Credit, captive insurance programs and other miscellaneous areas. The 9 a.m. panel will be hosted by Jeffry J. Erney of BakerHostetler LLP and will also feature J. Scott Broome of Bender, Alexander & Broome Co. LPA.
TCG’s discussion will focus on three recent updates around IRC Section 41:
- The elimination of Issue Tiering and the replacement of Issue Practice Groups
- Key Takeaways from 2014’s Suder V. Commissioner
- Proposed Treasury Regulations around Internal Use Software Developments
